Redesigned last year, the five-passenger 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer sport sedan attracts fans with its aggressive persona and spirited performance. The DE and ES trim levels come with a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces 152 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque, while the GTS packs a new 2.4L four-cylinder engine that is good for 168 hp and 167 lb-ft of torque. Coming standard with a five-speed manual transmission, the Lancer offers a continuously variable automatic (CVT) transmission as an option.
